MultiLingo was a framework for the design of international web sites with support for multiple different languages. It included guidelines for the design of links to external pages written in a different language. The main goal of Multilingo was to avoid usability problems for user that don't speak the language of the link's target document.
Notice: this technology has been surpassed in 1999 by the W3C WAI included in the hreflang attribute of the XHTML's a tag. For this reason, MultiLingo is not available any more.
